No referral is required and the fee is paid directly to the hospital, which issues a regular receipt.

Absolutely. Many families travel from Pavia, Piacenza, Crema, Alessandria, Ovada, and other cities in Lombardy and Piedmont. Both clinics are well connected: the Gaetano Pini Institute is a few minutes from Milano Porta Romana station, while the CTO is close to the Bicocca area and easily reachable from the northern motorways. What are the actual clinic hours? Are there slots beyond Wednesday and Friday afternoon?

What is the difference between the 800 890 890 number, MioDottore and SSN booking?

Both the 800 890 890 number and MioDottore are private channels for intramural (ALPI) visits with Dr. Priano: same availability, you choose the doctor, fee paid directly to the hospital. SSN visits follow the standard channels (regional CUP / pediatrician's referral) and are carried out by the doctor on duty in the Pediatric Orthopaedics Unit: with the SSN it is not possible to choose the specific specialist.

Online bookings via MioDottore are confirmed automatically when the slot is available. For emails or requests outside calendar slots, the response usually arrives within a few working days, compatibly with clinical and surgical activity. For situations perceived as urgent, please indicate this clearly in the email subject line.

No. Any insurance agreements concern the healthcare facility, ASST Gaetano Pini-CTO, not the individual doctor. Administrative management follows the hospital's procedures.
